Aiyisha T. Obafemi is an entertainment executive with 30 years of expertise, creating impactful marketing and branding solutions for high-profile clients across the music and entertainment sector. Her zeal for music began at a young age when she traveled the world with her mother who sang with Miriam Makeba and Nina Simone.
Coming from a family of revolutionaries, vocalists, and musicians, Aiyisha has taken those elements and applied them to every aspect of her life. Aiyisha will always represent a lineage of strong and intelligent women. Her greatest accomplishment to date has been raising twin daughters who are blossoming into powerful intellects.
In 2001, Aiyisha joined Disturbing Tha Peace Records. In her role as Chief Operating Officer and Marketing Director, Aiyisha provided a structured platform for creative idea sharing, establishing a direct link between executives and staff, and produced integral marketing campaigns. Aiyisha also holds an instrumental role as part of the management team for Ebony Son Entertainment.
Currently based in Atlanta as the CEO & Founder of The Blue Nile Group, Co-CEO & Founder of The A&D Agency, and Founding Member of Keeping Score Media, Aiyisha ties together all of her skill sets while managing and consulting clients as it pertains to achieving their individual and/or company goals.
